How to Delete and Unpin My AI from Snapchat+
To Unpin “My AI” from Chat Feed:
- Open Snapchat+ and go to your Profile screen.
- Look for the Snapchat+ banner.
- Find “My AI” in your pinned chats.
- Change it from ‘Pinned’ to ‘Unpinned.’
To Remove “My AI” from Chat Feed:
- Open Snapchat+ and go to your Profile screen.
- Swipe right from the Camera screen to access your chats.
- Find “My AI” in your chat list.
- Tap and hold on “My AI.”
- A menu will appear. Select “Chat Settings.”
- Look for an option like “Clear from Chat Feed” and tap it to remove “My AI” from your Chat Feed.
Why Can’t I Delete My AI on Snapchat?
Free Snapchat users are not able to hide or remove “My AI.” This feature is exclusive to Snapchat+ subscribers who get early access to new My AI features. However, even Snapchat+ users can’t completely delete My AI. They can only remove the conversation thread from their Chat screen and unpin the conversation. Currently, there’s no way to block the AI or remove My AI as a friend.
How to Remove Snapchat AI Messages:
Your conversations with My AI function like those with humans, so you can delete individual Snapchat messages from the chat if you don’t want to see them anymore. To do this:
- Press and hold the message you want to delete.
- Tap “Delete” > “Delete Chat.”
Another way to delete My AI messages is by enabling the “After Viewing” option. This setting hides any messages you send immediately after My AI reads them. You can change this setting in your Chat Settings in Snapchat.
Additionally, there’s an option in the app’s settings to clear your My AI data. This will erase all the data from your previous conversations with My AI, excluding any content that is still visible or saved. Here’s how to do it:
- From your Snapchat profile, open the settings.
- Navigate to “Clear My Data” > “Confirm.”
